1. Discovery

We kick things off by meeting and getting to know each other. We get down to what the problem really is, and make sure we’re not selling you a logo you don’t need.

2. Research

I send you a custom quote based off the scope, deliverables, timeframe and budget that we talked about over our initial consultation.

3. Brand Strategy Workshops

Once the quote is approved, I send over a contract and a deposit invoice for 50% of the project cost. Once signed and paid, we get started on your project.

4. Brand Strategy Doc

We present the work, make any edits necessary, and once we make a final decision, we handoff all the assets in a friendly folder system.

5. Marketing Plan

The creative process starts by gathering all the context needed to make sound and strategic design decisions.

6. Visual Identity Dev

Once well-informed and armed with a clear problem to solve in hand, we decide on the best direction to tackle the issue at hand.

7. Brand Guidelines

This is where the magic happens. Creativity takes hold and we brain dump as many ideas onto paper as possible before selecting the best options to move forward with.

8. Execution

We present our best ideas that support our goals, and once we make a decision, we move on to the last remaining deliverables such as the brand guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A brand strategy and identity project usually takes 6–10 weeks. Proposals and design collateral can be turned around faster depending on urgency. We’ll always give you a clear timeline upfront.

  • We’re in the business of delivering results and not in the business of delivering one piece that won’t be serving your business well. We have processes in place built on almost a decade of experience in order to serve your needs best and drive results.

    We are open to one-off projects if the fit is right though.

  • It can range, but typically not much. We lead with a clear process and simple checkpoints. You’ll give input where it matters, and we’ll handle the rest. Most clients spend about 2–4 hours total across a full engagement.

    For more strategic engagements that might have business-wide implications, such as brand strategy, it’s important that the leadership team be engaged though. If they’re not able to participate, it might not be the right time for a rebrand.

  • We build in feedback rounds and clear decision points to avoid surprises. You’ll always have a say, and we’ll collaborate to make sure the work reflects your vision.

  • A lot of firms get pretty far without ever hiring a creative agency, and we’re not here to sell you something you don’t need.


    That’s why we offer low-commitment options like brand audits or discovery sessions. They’re affordable, lightweight ways to get clarity on what’s working, what’s holding you back, and whether branding can help you move forward and scale.

  • We’re used to working with leadership teams, boards, and municipal groups. We build alignment early in the process to make sure everyone is working toward the same outcome, and we facilitate productive feedback along the way.

  • We want our clients to feel confident in the work and the process. If for any reason a project needs to be paused or canceled, we’re happy to refund any unused portion of the fee, based on the amount of work completed to that point.
